At the Tongue Hotel we promise to deliver… a taste of Scotland, utilising fresh local produce available from a natural Scottish larder. The quality and the provenance of the produce we use is important to us, that is why we have taken the time to visit our suppliers, the farms, the butchers, and the independent producers we utilise so that we can be confident of the choices we make on your behalf.
One of the things we are most proud of at the Tongue Hotel is that we source our food supplies locally. We have carefully selected farmers and suppliers from within Sutherland and Caithness so that we can be confident that the food we offer you is of the best quality and reflects the area that the Tongue Hotel proudly sits. We seek to only source our meat, fish and dairy products from Caithness and Sutherland, our fresh fruit and vegetables where possible are sourced within the highlands.
All of our dishes are made within our kitchen and everything is cooked to order - this is not convenience or fast food but something to be savoured and enjoyed!
